Being brought up in Ranchi and currently based in Mumbai, I've always lived in cities which have an integral connection with cinema. ​

Starting out as a filmmaker I was always interested in images and the power they held as a medium of story-telling

Irrespective of format, projects that are inherently strong in storytelling and design have always stood out for me. I'm interested in how my images can add to the narrative and I'm always trying to push the boundaries of my visual language.

Hands-on in my approach, experiments with lighting and unusual framing to achieve maximum visual impact. I've vision towards my work is to bring unflinching and an invisible moving camera approach to immerse the audience in the intimate experiences of the protagonists.

I've shot over a 100 commercials across varied genres. I've started my way into the world of narrative cinema with Siddharth Anand 's directorial "BANGBANG" ( 2014 ) after having worked on associate Cinematographer along side comrade Benjamin jasper ( Australian DOP ). After that I've completed many features & web series,which I've mentioned on my website page ( Feature & web series)

Over the last years, I've been able to achieve some extremely intimate collaborations with a bunch of young directors and create some fantastic music videos.

Currently I'm busy getting my hands dirty in more advertising and music video work broadening my craft whilst on the lookout for my next favourite collaborator.
